Since 2006, Tongue in Cheek Theater Productions has produced more than 40 thought-provoking productions, including the 2018 world premiere of Relentlessly Pleasant about women in the workplace -- "a compelling, wonderfully-written play" -- Onstage Blog, and the 2015 world premiere adaptation of The Inn at Lake Devine, based on the novel by Elinor Lipman, with original music and arrangements by Philip Rothman. "A passionate adaptation" -- The Huffington Post.

Other productions include revivals of Recent Tragic Events, Mauritius, Our Town, How I Learned to Drive, the company-created Buffalo Heights (recipient of a 2014 Puffin Foundation grant and later revived in the Planet Connections Fest 2017, nominated for 4 awards) and the New York premieres of Women Playing Hamlet and Books on Tape (FringeNYC).

In odd years, TIC produces 2 revivals in the spring and fall, and its Plus 1 Solo Show Festival during the dark nights of these runs. In even years, TIC delves into creating original productions. Check out www.tictheater.com to be a part of thought-provoking productions.
