Share Works-in-Progress • Learn What Your Audiences See, Hear, and Feel • Hone Your Critical Perception • Get Motivated By a Weekly Deadline
Fieldwork offers artists the time and space to take risks, share works at any stage of their progress, and to exchange artist-to-artist feedback guided by experienced facilitators. Our unique workshop model is great for choreographers, composers, playwrights, poets, spoken word performers, and more!
Dance artist, writer, and educator Shalewa Mackall (Choreographer, Movement for the Urban Village Dance Company; Faculty Member, St. Ann's School) joins us this fall to facilitate feedback sessions at each workshop. This 6-week Fieldwork season will take place at the Spoke the Hub studio at 298 Butler Street, between 3rd and 4th Ave, in Brooklyn. (Accessibility notice: This is a wheelchair accessible space.)
Fall 2019 Fieldwork Schedule:
