In the summer of 2019 we circulated a nationwide survey in order to inform The Field's Vision: our next phase of tools and services designed to help artists to lead full, prosperous lives. Approximately 700 artists responded, telling us about their art-making, their needs, and their priorities - both personal and professional. Artists Prospering! highlights what we learned and what we are doing with this information as we build out The Field's Vision. (Learn more about our Vision.)

Artists Prospering! research was conducted by a former Arts Management Fellow who specializes in arts research and analysis. A huge thank you to all the artists and partner organizations who participated in this work.
