Fieldwork Summer Intensive

Thursdays 6-9pm, July 12, 19, 26 and August 2, 9, 16
Facilitated by Julie Mayo, co-facilitated by Cara Liguori
Workshops take place at The FAR Space: 521 West 26th St, 2nd Floor
Participation fee: $110/$80 Field Members (due only if selected from lottery)

Fieldwork is a weekly forum for developing works and exchanging feedback artist to artist. Guided by an experienced facilitator, discussions are incisive and stimulating. The Fieldwork structure reveals how each piece is perceived by others and provides detailed information that helps participants hone their vision. By focusing discussions on what’s happening in the work and how choices shape the work, the Fieldwork method supports the authorship of each artist. Participants are selected by lottery; there are 10 available slots. The Intensive will culminate in an informal showing open to the public.

Donated Rehearsal Space!
The Field will match workshop participants with one of the sponsoring studios for 4 hours each week for free. Rehearsal space depends on availability and is not guaranteed. Participating artists will work within the studio policies and availability of their host studio.
