Management/Nonprofit 101

Learn the basics of running a theater/dance/performance company. This workshop will demystify the ins and outs of nonprofit performance companies, including mission statements and boards of directors. We'll look at your goals as an artist and as a manager so that you can create a support structure that's right for you.
Counts as two workshops, total fee: $50/$40-members.

To 501(c)(3) or not to 501(c)(3)?

The who, what, when, why, and how of starting your own 501(c)(3). Everything you ever wanted to know and didn't know how to ask! Please bring your company information (mission statement, staff structure, list of board members if you have one) so the group can have live examples to reference.

Tools for Artists in Overwhelm

This workshop focuses on shifting perspective on the things that overwhelm us. Discussions and exercises will look at how one can change the way s/he relates to stressful factors in order to find more ease in the "daily juggling act."

Using Excel for Budgets

Learn the basics of Microsoft Excel to maintain mailing lists and create budgets that calculate totals automatically. Budgeting in Excel is an effective time-saver that will help you budget without re-calculating over and over and over.
